Ingredients

  • olive oil - 1 tsp
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • coriander - 1 tsp, powdered
  • cumin - 1 tsp, powdered
  • turmeric - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • bulgur - 1 cup (225 g)
  • broth - 3 1/5 cups (750 ml)
  • mushrooms - 2/5 cup (115 g)
  • lentils - 2/5 cup (115 g)
  • black pepper
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt

How to make

Heat the olive oil in a pan and braise the onions, garlic and spices for 1 min., stirring nonstop.

Add the bulgur and saute for 2 min.

Pour in the broth, mushrooms and lentils. Saute on low heat for 25-30 min. and add more water if necessary.

Season with salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper and serve.
