Soak the rabbit in water for 15 hours. Salt it and cut it into portions. Braise the meat in highly heated oil.

Melt the butter in a pot and braise the coarsely chopped onions. Add the mushrooms, bacon, garlic. Sprinkle with salt, the 2 types of pepper and ginger.

Cover with a lid and saute for several minutes. Pour in the red wine, ketchup and add the braised meat. Boil about 45 min., turning the meat over every 15 min.find similar recipes here
