Ingredients

  • basil - 2 handfuls, fresh + 1/2 tsp, dried
  • sunflower seeds - 2 tbsp, raw, shelled
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • lemon juice - of 1 lemon
  • salt - 2 pinches
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 2 tsp

Preparation

Wash the sunflower seeds and soak them in a little water. Wash the fresh basil well and leave it to dry. Place the leaves in a blender.

To them add the swollen sunflower seeds, lemon juice, olive oil and remaining spices.

Blend everything until you get a smooth mixture. You can use the resulting pesto to season salads or eat it as an appetizer.find similar recipes here
