Ingredients

  • flour - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • mince - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • water - 1 2/3 cups (400 ml)
  • butter - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • eggs - 3
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • onions
  • oil

Preparation

Knead a dough from the flour, salt, water and 2 eggs. Let it rest 30 minutes. Then cut the butter into pieces and begin to roll it out along with the dough.

Fold the dough several times and roll it out again to evenly spread the butter. Leave the dough to rest for another 20 minutes. During this time, prepare the filling. Braise the mince that's been seasoned with the spices, then add the onion and fry a few more minutes.

Roll out the dough and cut it into squares measuring about 2 3/4″ (7 cm) per side. In the middle of each piece, put some filling.

Fold in 2 and press the 2 ends together, smear with beaten egg and bake in a hot oven – at 482°F (250 °C), until ready.find similar recipes here
