Ingredients

  • flour - 2.5 lb (1.2 kg)
  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • water - 1 cup (250 ml), warm
  • oil - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • yeast - 1 cube
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • water - 2/5 cup (100 ml) warm, for the yeast
  • flour - a little
  • jam
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling (optional)

How to make

Put the yeast, sugar, warm water and a little flour in a bowl. Mix and leave it to rise. Pour the rest of the flour into another bowl, make a well in the center and add the dissolved in the effervescent yeast, heated milk, water, oil and knead a soft dough.

The dough is divided into 8 balls. Each ball is rolled into a circle and cut into triangles.

At the wide end of each triangle, place a little jam and roll it up. Bake in a moderate oven until golden.
