Beat the egg with the sugar. Beat the baking soda with the yoghurt and add it to the mixture. Finally add the flour. The dough needs to be soft. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes to rise slightly.

Then spread it out and roll it out slightly. The dough needs to have a thickness of about 2 1/2″ (6 cm). Cut it into strips of 2″ (5 cm) wide and 8″ (20 cm) long. Roll them into cigar shapes.

Connect the two opposite ends of each strip. Fry in preheated oil. Optionally, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
