Ingredients

  • spinach - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • potatoes - about 7 oz (200 g), boiled
  • butter - 1 tbsp
  • eggs - 3
  • gouda - 2 oz (50 g)
  • corn flour - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • black pepper
  • white pepper
  • garlic - powdered

How to make

Chop the cleaned and washed spinach finely and saute it in a little of the butter.

Mix it with the grated potatoes and gouda, then with the beaten eggs.

Sprinkle with the spices and use a hand blender on the mixture to make it smooth.

Form small balls about the size of a walnut. Roll them in flour and drop them in salted boiling water to boil until done.

Serve the dumplings with garlic yoghurt sauce.
