Ingredients

  • gnocchi - 17.5 oz (500 g), ready - made, potato
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • mince - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • tomato sauce - 2 1/5 cups (520 ml), ready - made, for pasta
  • emmental - 3.5 oz (100 g), grated
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • basil

How to make

Heat the olive oil and add the finely chopped onions and pressed garlic. Braise 4-5 min., then turn up the heat and add the mince. Stir periodically until the mince is fully braised.

Add the tomato sauce, salt and black pepper to taste, basil if desired, and boil about 10 min. until thickened.

Boil the gnocchi for 2-3 min. in boiling salted water, strain them well and add them to the sauce.

Stir the dish well, transfer it to an oven dish, sprinkle with grated emmental and bake 10-15 min. in a preheated oven.

Serve with a salad of your choice.
