"Behold an amazingly delicious country-style recipe that goes perfect with a full-bodied red wine and some pleasant company! Enjoy"

Ingredients

  • pork neck - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • peppers - 1, red
  • champignons - 9 oz (250 g)
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt
  • black pepper - to taste
  • parsley - several bunches
  • broth - 1 cup
measures

How to make

Cut the meat into pieces. Heat the olive oil in a pan and put the meat in it to braise. Use a metal pan, you don't need a Teflon one for this recipe.

Fry for about 10 min. and add a cup of water or broth, stir, in order to sweep up all of the delicious things stuck to the bottom of the pan, and put a lid on.

Saute on medium heat until the liquid evaporates, after which the meat will be left in oil only and will start to fry once again. Add the chopped mushrooms and red pepper and cook until the meat turns a golden color.

Sprinkle with salt, black pepper to taste and parsley at the end.

Note: Don't salt the meat at the beginning, it will shrink and release juices, becoming tough as a result. Always salt at the end when cooking pork and beef.

The dish goes well with a full-bodied red wine and a good mood :)
