"A terribly delicious cake with pears, that is a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. Garnish it with cream or ice cream, for the perfect culinary experience."

  • butter - 1 packet
  • eggs - 1 yolk
  • flour - 1 cup (250 g)
  • milk - 2 tbsp
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • cinnamon
  • cream - for garnishing

How to make

Beat the butter with the egg yolk and milk, add the flour and knead a dough.

Lay it out in a suitable tray and make a 1 tall border. Poke it with a fork in several places and sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar.

Cut the washed pears into thin slices and arrange them in concentric circles on top of the dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake the cake in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 20 min.

Take it out, sprinkle with the remaining 2 tbsp sugar and bake another 20-25 min. at 360°F (180 °C). You can garnish the cooled cake with whipped cream.
