Ingredients

  • nuts - 2 cups (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts)
  • raisins - 1/2 cup
  • oats - 1 1/2 cups
  • dates - 1 cup
  • carob flour - 3 tbsp
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • coconut flakes - for rolling

Preparation

Wash the dates well. Clean them of their pits. If you want you can soak the nuts and raisins in water ahead of time.

If soaked beforehand, then the amount of water added later needs to be less. It's best not to soak them at all.

Pour the nuts, raisins, oats, dates and carob flour in a blender. After you've blended and mixed them all, add the water. Turn the blender on again briefly.

Optionally you can also add a little honey. Form balls from the resulting mixture. Roll them in the coconut flakes.find similar recipes here
