Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • vanilla - 2
  • flour - 2 cups
  • for the filling
  • apples - 2
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 cup
  • chocolate - 2 oz (50 g)

How to make

For the filling, peel and clean the apples, cut them into small cubes.

Combine the flour and cinnamon and roll the apple cubes in them. Add the finely chopped chocolate.

Separately, beat the eggs, sugar, oil and yoghurt. Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla which you've sifted beforehand.

Add the filling to this and stir. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured form, 9 1/2″ (24 cm) in diameter.

Bake in a preheated 340°F (170 °C) oven about 40-45 min. While still warm, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
