"We`ll make the coffee but it`s your turn to make the cake."

  • walnuts - 1/2 cup, coarsely chopped
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • baking powder - 1
  • flour - 2 1/4 cups
  • turkish delight - 1 box

  • butter - for smearing
measures

How to make

Clean the walnuts of their shells. Cut each nut in half or in quarters. You're going to need for the top. Chop they coarsely so they don't sink in too deep. Sift the flour in a large bowl.

Combine the flour with the baking powder and a small vanilla packet for fragrance. Take the eggs out at room temperature for a bit. In another bowl, beat the eggs with a mixer continuously. Add the sugar and continue beating. Add the yoghurt and oil.

Gradually add the flour with the baking powder and stir. Cut up all the Turkish delight from 1 box into small pieces. Add them in as well and start stirring with a spoon.

Butter the baking form and flour it. Pour the mixture into the baking form and smooth it out. Distribute the walnuts on top. Bake at 360°F (180°C) in a slightly heated oven until ready. Eat with coffee. Enjoy!
