Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • eggs - 5
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp

Preparation

Peel and cut the tomatoes finely. Braise the onions and garlic. Add the tomatoes, salt to taste, paprika, black pepper and sugar.

Leave the sauce to cook until some of the liquid evaporates.

Break the eggs in carefully on top, cover with a lid and leave them to poach for 5-6 min.
