Ingredients

  • veal - 16 oz (450 g), meat without bones
  • white wine - 1 cup
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • onions - 2 heads
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • paprika
  • butter - 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • garlic - 3 - 4 stalks, fresh

How to make

Wash the meat and cut it into steaks, then put them in a bowl with a lid. To the meat, add the cleaned and grated onions, 1 tsp each of salt, black pepper and paprika. You can also add spices according to your personal preference, then add the water and wine and stir well.

After you've mixed the meat and spices well, close the bowl and put it in the fridge for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 390°F (200 °C), place a large oven dish with 1-2 cups of water in it at the bottom, in the middle (the idea is for the water to start to moisten the meat once it starts to evaporate).

Once the meat has marinated, take it out of the marinade and arrange directly on the oven grill in the middle of the oven.

Once you've placed the meat and water, bake for about 40 min. or until ready.

In a cup, mix a pinch of sugar, salt, the melted butter, finely chopped garlic, a little black pepper and paprika. 5 min. before you take the meat out, use a brush to rub the mixture well into the meat, then finish baking.
