Ingredients

  • pork steaks - 6, from the neck
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • honey - 2 tbsp
  • lemons - 1
  • beer - 1 cup (250 ml), pale ale
  • vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • rosemary - 1 sprig
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

Preparation

Tenderize the pork neck slightly and make cuts along the ends to prevent the meat from bunching up during baking, salt and sprinkle with black pepper.

Combine the pressed garlic, honey, squeezed out lemon juice, beer, vinegar and rosemary in a deep bowl with a lid. Place the steaks in this marinade to soak overnight.
