"A genuine elixir for your soul and health - please enjoy responsibly."

Ingredients

  • green walnuts - 45
  • brandy - 4 1/5 cups (1 L), homemade
  • brown sugar - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • red wine - 8 1/3 cups (2 L), homemade
  • vanilla - 3
measures

How to make

Soak the washed and cut in half green walnuts in the brandy (use gloves). It's best to use a container made of ground glass. I used a 12 1/2 cups (3 L) jar that I wrapped in foil.

Leave the infusion to sit for 45 days in a dark area, due to the iodine. After the time has elapsed, strain the liquid through a gauze and mix it with the sugar and wine in the same container. What I did was I distributed the liqueur into 3 large bottles because I wanted to make 3 separate doses.

I put vanilla in 1, a stick of cinnamon in the next and cloves in the 3rd. It's an easy way of satisfying every taste.

Elixir details:

The small green walnuts are rich in iodine, thiamine, vitamin C, iron and more. The infusion is used for thyroid problems, for treating pharyngitis, bronchitis, ulcers, stomach pain, for boosting the immune system, normalizing gastrointestinal activity, cleansing from parasites.

Dangers: do not use if you have Hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, eczema or psoriasis, excessive blood clotting or acute pancreatitis.
