  • eggs - 4, free - range
  • oil - 1 cup
  • milk - 1 cup
  • sugar - 2 cups
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • vanilla - 1
  • flour - 2 1/2 cups
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar in a bowl with a mixer. Add the oil, milk and vanilla. Stir well.

Next, add the flour mixed with the baking powder and stir with a spoon until it becomes homogeneous cake mixture. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture and color it with cocoa.

In an oiled and floured cake form, first pour in the white mixture, then the cocoa one on top and use a wooden skewer to make spiral movements for the decoration.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven about 50 min. to a dry toothpick. Take it out and optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar, although it's plenty fluffy and tasty as is.
