Ingredients

  • figs - 4.5 lb (2 kg), ripe, firm
  • sugar - 6 cups
  • water - 1 1/2 cups
  • limes - 1
  • citric acid - 2 tsp (10 g)

How to make

Boil the water with the sugar in a suitable container.

Add the figs and stir. Boil on high for 30 min.

Add the citric acid and lime zest.

Distribute into jars and seal them. Sterilize for 10 min.
