How to make

Pour 1 cup warm milk in a bowl, add 1 tsp sugar, the yeast and a little flour, stir and leave in a warm area for it to activate.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and remaining ingredients, excluding the fats. Knead a soft dough and begin to slowly add in the melted fats, knead until they're fully absorbed.

Leave the dough in a warm area to rise, then make the bow ties as follows: divide the dough into identical balls and roll out a small oblong sheet from each one. Fold each in 2, makes 2 cuts in the middle.

Fold the edges toward the middle, flip the middle part back. You can get a better idea of how to do this in the photos I've attached. Leave the bow ties to rise, then smear them with beaten yolk, sprinkle with sugar and bake in a preheated oven until golden.

These tasty, aromatic bow ties are the perfect Easter surprise for kids and adults!
