  • mince - 17.5 oz (500 g)
  • potatoes - 1
  • eggs - 1
  • bread - 1 slice
  • flour - 5 - 6 tbsp
  • water - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • cumin
  • nutmeg

How to make

Grate the potato finely. Add the mince to it. Stir well. Then add the egg. Stir well again to mix thoroughly.

Crumble the middle of the bread slice into the mixture. Stir again or knead with your hands. Add the flour and water. Then add in the spices. Stir again.

The resulting mixture needs to be thick.

Pour oil in a pan. Once it heats up, pour 1 tbsp of the mixture in it at a time. It needs to come off the spoon easily. Braise the schnitzels well on both sides. Then take them out and put onto a towel or napkin to drain well from the oil.
