"Grandma never throws anything away, always cooking something tasty with just about anything."

Ingredients

  • bread - 10 - 11 slices, dry
  • butter - 2 tbsp (30 g)
  • sausages - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • parsley
  • oregano
  • eggs - 2
  • feta cheese - 2 oz (50 g)
  • mixed spices - 2 pinches
  • tomatoes - 2
measures

How to make

Don't throw out your dry bread, it makes for an excellent breakfast.

Smear each bread slice with butter and sprinkle with some mixed spices. Arrange them in a tray like a wreath, while slightly overlapping the bread slices.

Cut the sausages into round slices, place 2 of them onto each bread slice.

Wash the tomatoes and cut them into crescents. Place 2 tomato crescents onto each bread slice, then slices of cheese on top of them.

Sprinkle with oregano.

Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the crumbled feta cheese and a little grated cheese. Pour egg mixture over each of the bread slices using a spoon. Finish off with a little grated cheese.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until ready!

Serve with vegetables and ayran!

Bon appetit!
