Chop the onion finely. Grate the carrot. Peel the potatoes and dice them. Wash the spinach and tear or cut it (not too finely).

Heat oil in a pot and braise the onion and carrot. Add the potatoes to them and braise them as well. Then pour in 4 1/5 cups (1 L) water and leave it to boil.

Once boiling, lower the stove and add salt and black pepper to taste. Once the potatoes have softened a bit, add the spinach.

Shortly before everything's ready, add the rice, washed beforehand. Pour in another 4 1/5 cups (1 L) water, turn the stove up until the soup starts to boil and leave as is until the rice is boiled.find similar recipes here
