Ingredients

  • flour - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • coconut flakes - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • sugar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • eggs - 1
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

Preparation

Add the baking powder and coconut flakes to the sifted flour, stir well.

Add the egg, sugar and the butter, cut into small cubes, then knead a smooth dough.

Form walnut-sized balls from the dough and arrange them onto a tray laid out with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven for 15 min., they need to remain light-colored.

While still hot, roll them generously in powdered sugar. Store in metal or airtight boxes.find similar recipes here
