Ingredients

  • beans - 2 cups (500 g) ripe
  • ribs - 21 oz (600 g), pork, smoked
  • peppers - 1 dry + 1 fresh
  • salt
  • paprika
  • spearmint - 1 tablespoon
  • carrots - 1
  • onions - 1 head
  • savory - 1 tsp
  • tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
  • sugar - 1 tsp

How to make

Clean, wash and soak the beans in cold water overnight.

The next morning, drain them, wash again and put in a pot on the stove with 1 tsp sugar. Let them reach boiling point and boil 30 min. on medium heat.
