"Tortellini, Cream And Mushrooms - is this what they call a love triangle and why it`s so sinfully delicious?"

Ingredients

  • tortellini - 1 pack
  • cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml) liquid + 1 small pot of sour
  • milk - 2/3 cup (150) ml
  • tomatoes - 1 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • onions - 1 head
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • parmesan - 3.5 oz (100 g) or cheese for sprinkling
  • breadcrumbs - 1 tablespoon

How to make

Boil the tortellini according to the package directions and drain them. Heat 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) of oil and fry the chopped onions. After a minute add the finely chopped garlic and sliced mushrooms.

Once the vegetables soften, mix them with the tortellini straight into a well oiled oven dish. Beat the 2 creams and milk, tomato paste and salt together.

Pour this into the oven dish and gently stir/shake to spread the mixture out evenly. Put the tortellini with cream and mushrooms to bake until the pasta absorbs most of the liquid.

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with a little grated parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs, then return the dish to the oven to obtain an appetizing crust.

Serve with chopped fresh parsley.
