measures

How to make

In the flour, gradually pour a glass of water, add the butter, salt and knead gradually. Divide them into two halves and leave for 30 minutes in a cool place.

Cut the bacon into cubes and fry with the chopped onion. Then make a mince by mixing the fish with the fried onions and bacon. Add the cream, salt and pepper.

Pour the prepared stuffing onto one dough crust. Cover tightly with the second and press down lightly. You have to show a little creativity - cut with a sharp knife and make the form of a fish.

If possible, make decorations that look like fish scales. Put the fish pie in an oven dish with baking paper, then brush with a beaten egg yolk. Bake the Finnish fish pie in a moderately heated oven for about 3 hours.

Occasionally, smear the fish pie with lard. When serving the pie pieces, add a little melted butter.
