  • sugar - 4 1/5 cups (1 kg)
  • pumpkins - 26.5 oz (750 g)
  • citric acid - 2 tsp
  • essence


Cut the pumpkin into shapes. Put them for 1 hour in boiling water, rinse and drain in a strainer.

Boil a runny syrup from the sugar with 2 cups water. Add the pumpkin and boil it on low heat.

Once it thickens, add 2 teaspoons of citric acid. Finally, flavor the jam with lemon or orange essence.find similar recipes here
