  • peaches - 28 oz (800 g)
  • sugar - 4 1/5 cups (1000 g)
  • water - 8 1/3 cups (2 l)
  • tartaric acid - 1 tsp


Choose large and healthy fruits. Wash and remove the pits and cut them into halves.

Immerse the halves in boiling water for 3-4 minutes for the skins to peel off of them, then cut into eighths. Put the prepared peaches in boiled water for 1-2 hours, then wash them. Prepare a syrup from the sugar and water, put the peaches in it.

Cook for 7-8 minutes, remove from the heat and leave it for up to one hour. Put it back on the heat and boil to thicken the syrup.

Three - four minutes before removing from the heat, add the tartaric acid. Let the jam sit for 7-8 hours, then distribute it into jars.find similar recipes here
