Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 1 small
  • oil - 5 tbsp
  • water - 5 tsp
  • milk - 1 cup
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • flour - 2 cups
  • vanilla - 2 powders
  • eggs - 5
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar and add the oil and water. Pour in the vanilla, milk and gradually the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and pumpkin puree (made from the pumpkin you've boiled and blended beforehand).

Pour the finished mixture into a greased and floured oven dish and put it to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until your toothpick comes out dry when you poke it.

Sprinkle the finished pumpkin cake with powdered sugar once it cools slightly.
