"Genius - making outstanding Chocolate Rocks with old bread instead of flour. What doubt then could you have about culinary magic?"

Ingredients

  • bread - 1, old, white
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp, powdered
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g) ground
  • milk chocolate - 1 plain, large (no nuts)
  • milk - 3 tablespoons
  • vanilla - 1
  • coconut flakes - 1 - 2 packets for decoration
measures

How to make

Dig out the inside of the white bread (you won't need the crusts) and crumble it in a large bowl. Then melt the butter and add it to the crumbled bread, then add the cocoa, walnuts and sugar.

Start stirring by hand until everything is mixed and you get a dough. Prepare a suitable tray or platter with an even surface in which to arrange the Chocolate Rocks.

Start tearing from the dough and forming pointed, rock-like treats, arrange them in the tray. Repeat the process until out of dough. Make them a moderate size.

Once you've used up the dough, pour the milk, vanilla and chocolate in a tray, melt them on low heat while stirring nonstop until everything is mixed. Be careful not to burn it!

Once everything is melted and mixed well, grab a spoon and start pouring this chocolate mixture over the rocks. 1 tbsp per chocolate rock is enough.

When finished, immediately start sprinkling on the coconut flakes so that they stick to the still hot glaze. This decoration imitates snow on the rocks.

After you've sprinkled all the rocks, immediately put them in the fridge and leave for at least 2 hours in it to harden. Then you can treat your loves ones with them and impress them.

I promise there's no way you won't love their taste!
