Ingredients

  • bread - 4 slices white
  • onions - 2 heads
  • peppers - 4.
  • lemons - 1/2 juice
  • ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1 pinch
  • pepper - 1 pinch
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp

Preparation

The onions and peppers are cut into circles, stew in vegetable oil until soft.

Add a little water. Allow to soak in a marinade of lemon juice, ketchup, salt and pepper overnight (if you don’t have time, maybe one hour).

Shortly before serving, the onion and peppers from the marinade are put on white toast bread, cover with a slice of hard cheese and put in preheated oven.

As soon as the cheese melts, the sandwiches are removed and served.
