Homemade dough is recommended for making the perfect pizzas, muffins and cakes. Often, however, novices worry about kneading because they are unsure of the exact proportions they need of the products.
You don't need to be an experienced cook to knead a soft dough that melts right between your fingers. All you need is the right recipe and an occasion to pleasantly surprise your loved ones.
To make a soft dough, make sure you have 4 tea cups of flour, 1 tbsp. of sugar, 4 tbsp. of oil or melted butter, 1 egg, 0.7 oz (20 g) of baker's yeast, ½ tsp. of salt, 1 cup of milk or water.
Sift the flour with the salt and in some of the slightly warmed milk add the baker's yeast and sugar and stir until the yeast has completely dissolved. Leave to simmer in the heat.
Transfer the yeast to a deep bowl, add the remaining milk or water, egg and fat. Slowly start adding from the sifted flour, while first of all, you stir with a wooden spoon and then finish off kneading by hand.
Do not add the whole amount of flour all at once, but in portions, so that in the process of kneading you can judge how soft the dough is and whether there is a need to add something extra.
Don't worry about adding even a little more fat, because it will keep the ready-made muffins, pizzas or cakes softer for a longer time.
