Quality butter is quite solid when stored in the refrigerator. But sometimes we have to use it right away and we don't have time to wait for it to cool down to room temperature, which is the best way to melt butter.

You can melt butter by placing it in a pan and directly place it on the heated hob. Stir with a wooden spoon and keep an eye on it constantly. When the butter melts, lift it off the hob immediately so you don't overdo it.

The second way to melt butter is in the microwave. Put the butter in a suitable container and heat for 30 seconds - 1 minute at a maximum power of 900 W depending on the amount of butter. Keep an eye on it at all times.

The third way is to melt the butter in a water bath. Chefs advise to use the third method, which is excatly melting it in a water bath. This way, the butter retains its properties, but requires a little more heat and patience on your part.

If you want to melt butter in a water bath, use a fireproof pan and put the butter in it first. The pan must be clean and dry. Then place it aside.

Use a pot and pour two fingers of water in it. put it on the stove and wait for the water to boil. Then get the pan with the butter and place it in the pot of boiling water. The bottom of the pan, that the butter is in, should float in boiling water, but should not touch the bottom of the pot.

In a minute or two you will see the butter beginning to melt. Wait until it has completely melted and lift it from the heat. Now you have melted butter, which has preserved its healthy properties.
