Ingredients: 6 cups of flour, 2 cups warm water, 2 tsp salt, 2 tablespoons oil, 4 tablespoons sugar, 0.7 oz (20 g) dry yeast.
Preparation: Heat the water and dissolve the yeast in it. Put them in a deep bowl and add salt, sugar and oil. Stir the mixture well. Add a cup of cup flour and stir. Once you get started, knead the mixture until it forms a soft, sticky dough. For your convenience, knead on a floured surface. You should get a soft dough, but it should not stick. Divide it into two equal balls and let it rest for 15 minutes.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough balls slightly until you get the shape like a circle, or ellipse. Fold one in the form of a baguette so that it fits into the tray, flip the inside edges up. Above, make a cut with a knife. Place in a well greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size. Do the same with the other ball. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes.
Both will fit nicely together in a larger pan. You can put them in the oven and turn it to the lowest temperature, then also leave them to rest as needed, and then increase to 180 degrees. Bake until a crust is formed on the top and bottom.
Leave the now finished bread to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes. You must keep it wrapped in a suitable fabric.
