Take a strip of cotton, long enough to go around your neck, soak it in brandy and sprinkle it with black pepper. Then place the cotton to your throat and put a wool scarf on top. Leave this compress on overnight.

You can also make mulled wine, in which black pepper is also added, this time as peppercorns. This recipe will quickly provide relief and get rid of your cough and cold.

Black pepper can also be used to improve digestion, for respiratory problems, sexual disorders, joint pain, muscle, nerve and other problems.
