Fat-Free French Fries Recipe
Required products: 4 large potatoes; 2 egg whites; salt; other spices according to taste.
Preparation: Beat the egg whites in a large bowl with the salt. Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips for frying. Dip them in the egg whites and arrange them in a tray covered with baking paper.
Bake the potatoes in an oven preheated to 200°C until they're fully baked. Before serving, sprinkle them with spices of your choice.
Oven-baked potatoes are much more healthy than boiled potatoes, which are considered a healthy option for processing potatoes. They retain most of the nutrients in them - vitamins and trace elements. This way, the caloric content of french fries is avoided due to the fat intake.
Fat-free potatoes preserve the diuretic properties of root vegetables and lower blood pressure. They are also a dietary food, along with the boiled ones, combining the best of the two heat treatments of potatoes - the wonderful taste of french fries and low-calorie, healthy and dietary characteristics of prepared without fat.
When baking fresh potatoes, you can skip peeling them and after thorough washing, they can be baked with the skins, in which most of the nutrients are found.
