The good thing about rice is that it can be prepared in many ways and many spices can be added to it. Rice is one of the favorite foods of many of us, not only because it is so flexible and easy to prepare, but also because it can be consumed and cooked in thousands of ways.
It easily absorbs the aroma and taste of foods, spices and herbs that are added to it. This makes rice very easy to change in terms of taste, color, appearance and aroma.
It turns out that rice is one of the most susceptible products to experiment with spices added to it. No matter how much you experiment, you can't be disappointed.
For a Mexican flavor, add tomato sauce, chili powder, onion, garlic and cumin to your rice.
For an Italian flavor, add pesto and basil. And sometimes you just add a little butter and soy sauce to the white rice and you will achieve a really great taste.
Other suitable spices are: sesame oil, olive oil, tarragon, thyme, oregano, parsley, rosemary, black pepper, paprika, savory herb and parmesan.

Now we'll share a vegetarian recipe, which if you try it you will fall in love with it. In a pan, fry 1 onion, 2 cloves garlic and a little celery. Then add a cup of rice and mix everything well.
Remove it from the heat and add the following spices: a pinch of cumin, a pinch of hot paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of black pepper and 2 cups and a half of water. Place the pan on the stove and stir until the rice absorbs the water.
What makes this rice even tastier is the addition of two things, raisins and some kind of nuts, such as almonds or walnuts. Add them at the end of cooking and after removing the dish from the stove, add chopped parsley and a little coriander.
This rice can be a wonderful garnish to any kind of meat or fish and for those who love it lean, it is a great dish.
