Not every working woman has time to prepare delicious and fresh dinner for herself and her family in the evening. The truth is that very few of the ladies who put emphasis on careers are interested in spending time cooking. Often you have to host surprise guests and then the question of what to offer them to eat puts you into a panic.
It is unnecessary, however, because the culinary art has recipes that can be prepared literally with eyes closed. If you add a little sophistication, refinement and some of your favorite spices, this guarantees you a perfect dish for dinner, which would satisfy the most demanding tastes.
Here are a few quick, easy and more delicious recipes, which satisfy hunger for the people around you after a long day. All meals are for 4 servings and take no more than 15-20 minutes and do not require any special culinary skills.
Potatoes with Bacon and Cheese
Boil 6 medium potatoes, cut in half, for 15-20 minutes, until tender. Drain them well, and stack them up with cuts in a shallow pan and place 250g soft cheese on them (Camembert, Brie or more. optional). Bake them on a moderate grill for 3-5 minutes until they have a golden tan. Serve with a slice of ham and pickle slices on top.
To prepare this aristocratic, but quite easy meal, you need to have 800 g chopped vegetables - it is best to use a frozen mix of choice. Saute vegetables with 1 tablespoon oil, 1 teaspoon cumin and 2 tsp crushed chilli. Stir occasionally until it softens. Add to the vegetables a smoked sausage, re- heated yesterday's meat or whatever you have. Serve the dish on a bed of two fried eggs.
Spaghetti with Chicken
Cook pasta according to package directions on package, drain them and sprinkle with 2-3 tbsp oil. Heat 1 tablespoon fat in the pan and fry some chicken breast over high heat (boiled or baked in advance and cut into slices), and 3 carrots – in thin strips or circles. Add 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon soya sauce and the juice of 2 small lemons. Let the meat simmer for 30 seconds and pour the pasta into the pan with 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds. Mix well, sprinkle with leaves of parsley and serve.
Sandwiches with Ham and Gouda
Who said sandwiches are not suitable for dinner. Captivate your loved one with a very easy recipe. You need to pick a good bread or baguette from which to cut uniform slices. Brush them lightly with oil, arrange the prosciutto slices and top with Gouda. As a finishing touch, place one slice of whole mushroom best one from a jar. Sprinkle with a little dried thyme and bake the sandwiches. Serve them with a salad of tomatoes, olive oil and basil.See more
