Grits are often seen on the food table. In different parts of the world, it is loved and often used. You can find it in almost any grocery store.

Tomatoes with grits
Preparation : Buy tomatoes that are not too ripe, cut the pedicles off and carve out the insides, leave to drain. Place the grits in water along with the finely chopped onion and spices. Once they swell, take away from the heat. Chop the garlic and walnuts and add to the grits, stir well. Fill the tomatoes with the mixture, put their tops back on and arrange them in a baking pan, previously greased, and add in the rest of the stuffing with the tomato juice. Bake in a preheated oven at about 356°F (180 °C).
Carrot salad with grits
Preparation : Boil the grits and allow it to cool. In the meantime, shred the peeled and washed carrots on a coarse grater, add them to the finely chopped parsley, 1 sprig of celery, salt, lemon juice, olive oil and crushed garlic. Once the grits have cooled, add them to other products and mix well. Allow the salad to cool and absorb the aromas for a few hours.
