Some of the tastiest, and easiest for every housewife appetizers are those made with pancakes. If you are having a family dinner or one of your friends over, you can safely bet on them.
To prepare them, the first thing you must do is obtain the pancakes. You can buy ready-made ones, but we all know that homemade is best. For the preparation of 20 to 25 pancakes you will need:
Put the flour in a deep bowl and make a well, in which you pour the previously beaten eggs. Slowly add half the milk. Beat for 2-3 minutes to obtain a smooth mixture.
To this, add the salt, oil and melted butter. Whisk well and pour in the second half of the milk. After sitting for half an hour, you can proceed to frying.
When you are done with the pancakes, leave them to cool completely. Make each pancake into a roll, to be filled with various kinds of stuffing. The rolls can be of different sizes if desired. If they are smaller, they look very cute with a toothpick stuck in them, for easier consumption.
As stuffing for our cold appetizer, we can use many products. Snow White and Russian salad are good solutions. If you prefer seafood, crab rolls can be used. The bites can be completed with a sprig of green onions for a nice and elegant look.
If you have more time before guests arrive, you can bet on the "more sophisticated" bites. Fry mince with 1-2 heads of finely chopped onions. Season with savory, paprika and black pepper. Fold the pancakes into small bites and fill with the minced meat.
Arrange in a greased baking pan. On top, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for a few minutes in the oven. Once cool, the ends are stuffed with a sprig of green onion.
A similar idea requires you to fill the pancakes with small cubes of cheese, feta cheese and ham. Twist them, sprinkle with cheese and bake. If you choose not to bake, you can add shredded chicken, mayonnaise or whatever comes to mind. Just try it and you will be pleasantly surprised with the result.See more
