The volunteers who participated in the experiment were between the ages of 72 and 103. Each one of them ate a piece of feta cheese daily for a period of 4 weeks. The end results showed that the frequent consumption of feta cheese helped to stimulate their immune system.

Feta cheese showed a beneficial effect for improving immune system reactions in seniors, which is affected to a great extent by exterior factors.
