You can count on thyme, basil and anise against stress as well. Cloves are another spice which can successfully be used to get rid of stress. Since cloves are incredibly fragrant, be careful when using them in cooking.

According to a study, cloves can even cure foot fungus. The spice contains omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, vitamin C, high amounts of manganese. An especially valuable substance in cloves is eugenol - it provides cloves with their sweet fragrance, has anti-septic and anesthetic effects.
