With the onset of spring it's also time for fresh spring salads. No matter how you prepare them, they are exceptionally healthy for everyone and in addition are a wonderful way for a person to get rid of the excess pounds packed on during the winter. Here are a few ideas for green salads that you can make.
Preparation: Wash the iceberg lettuce and tear it into small pieces. To them, add the cucumber and radishes that have been cut into slices, add the finely chopped onions and corn. Finally, pour the spices over the salad and stir well.
Green Salad with Spinach
Ingredients: 1 lettuce head, 10.5 oz spinach, 1 red onion head, 5 champignons, 1 red pepper, 1 boiled egg, 10 pitted green olives, 4 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp dark balsamic vinegar, 3 bunches fresh thyme, half a garlic clove, 1 tsp honey, 1 tbsp basil, 1 tbsp oregano, 1 pinch black pepper, salt to taste, 2 oz grated parmesan.
Preparation: Wash the salad and spinach and tear them up into a bowl. Add the cut strips of red onions, the pepper, olives and mushrooms and diced egg. Make a dressing from all of the remaining products, excluding the parmesan; it's best to make the mixture in a mortar and pestle. Pour it over the salad and sprinkle with the parmesan.
Spicy Green Salad with Arugula
Ingredients: 1 lettuce head, 3.5 oz arugula, 1 red onion head, 3.5 oz grated parmesan, 3 1/3 tbsp ground walnuts, 4 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp dark balsamic vinegar, 1 tsp honey, 1 pinch cayenne pepper, salt to taste.
Preparation: Wash the lettuce and arugula, drain and tear them into a bowl. Add the onions that have been cut into strips and the walnuts to them. Make a dressing from all of the remaining products, excluding the parmesan; pour it over the salad and toss it well. Finally sprinkle with the parmesan and serve.
