Ingredients: 17.5 oz fresh potatoes, butter and oil, 1 tsp salt, 2-3 pinches black pepper, 1 bunch of rosemary.

Preparation: Wash the potatoes carefully first, peel them if you like, then place them in a pot with water. Let them come to a boil and lower the heat, and after 10 min. remove them completely. Smear a suitable tray with butter and pour in the potatoes - you can press them carefully with your hand so they crack. Pour oil over them and then the spices. Chop the rosemary and pour it over the potatoes as well. Bake them at about 392°F (200 °C) for about 25 min. If you like garlic, you can add several finely chopped cloves.

Another great recipe for a garnish are boiled potatoes with butter. This recipe is extremely quick and easy to make, is suitable as a garnish for all kinds of meat and fish. Of course you can eat it as a main course or as an appetizer with a glass of cold beer.

Fresh Potatoes with Garlic

You will need 17.5 oz potatoes, wash them under running water, if necessary peel them too. Next, place the potatoes in a pot and pour in water - the liquid needs to cover them.

Add salt to the water and turn on the stove, once they come to a boil add a pinch of caraway. Wait for the potatoes to soften, drain them, put them in a serving plate and pour on half a packet of melted butter. Finally, sprinkle with parsley.

Ingredients: 17.5 oz potatoes, a slice of butter, oil, garlic, salt and dill if desired.

Preparation: Wash and clean the potatoes, then dry them, afterwards place them in the preheated butter and oil. Put a lid over the potatoes and shake the pot carefully. At first the raw potatoes will sound like a bunch of rocks in the pot. Lower the heat and shake the potatoes regularly - in about 20 min. check to see if they have softened.

Shortly before removing them from the stove (about 2-3 min.) salt, add the chopped garlic and (optionally) dill. You can substitute the dill with a different spice. Instead of garlic you can also use green onions and to make them even more delicious add a teaspoon of paprika.
