Eating is a process after which our body is fueled with energy and we normally should feel more alert. But have you noticed how even after you eat you sometimes feel even more exhausted?

4. Red meat. According to experts, consumption of red meat is capable of charging our body with energy and boosting the immune system since this food product contains vitamin A, folic acid, selenium, zinc, iron, vitamin B12 and others.
But it also turns out that red meat, like other meat and dairy products, contains a high content of fat - these are more difficult for the body to process. Ultimately our body uses all of our energy to break them down and we end up feeling tired.
5. Cherries. These juicy little round balls are famed for being a healthy food product, as they are a source of vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B4, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and others.
In parallel they supply our body with melatonin, which in turn is known as a sleep aid. So if you're given the choice, eat cherries before you head to bed.
