Grilled Squid for Aficioandos

  • squid - tubes
  • marinade
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • himalayan salt
  • garlic - 1 clove, pressed
  • black pepper - 1 pinch
  • paprika - 1 pinch
  • dill - a few stalks, finely chopped


Remove the squid's eyes, membranes and remove the insides. The tentacles are a bit harder to clean but they're the tastiest! Wash well.

Make slight cuts with a sharp knife along the tube.

Mix all the products for the marinade (set aside 1 tbsp of it) and smear the squid well with it. Leave for 15 min. in the marinade and place on a heated grill.

Flip over as needed to grill on both sides until golden. Don't bake too long because it'll become tough!

After making, smear again with the set aside marinade.

Garnish with parsley pesto, lemon juice and other aromatic spices/garnishes as desired.
