Boil the macaroni in a pot with salted water. Once boiled, rinse them with cold water and drain.
Pour the milk mixture over the macaroni and stir. Add the melted butter and stir again.
Pour the remaining sugar at the bottom of a tray. Put tray on the stove and stir nonstop until the sugar caramelizes.
Distribute the caramel evenly along the entire bottom of the tray. Pour in the macaroni over the slightly hardened caramel.
Bake the dessert in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven until the dish obtains a nice caramel crisp.
The baked macaroni need to cool, then cut into portions and serve.
