Boil the potatoes and carrots.
Cut the potatoes into medium cubes, the carrots and pickles into round slices.
Add the processed cheese, cooking cream, olive oil, dry spices and the salt. Stir well, put to bake in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven.
Before taking the casserole out, grate the cheese on top and return for it to crisp for another 5-10 min.
