Fry the ribs in highly heated oil. Take them out and pour in the chopped leeks. Once sauteed, to them add the paprika and tomato paste.
Stir well, add the finely chopped sauerkraut, chopped pepper and the remaining spices.
Pour 1/2 the mixture into a suitable tray or clay pot, arrange the ribs on top and finally finish off with the rest of the mixture. Pour in the water and bake until ready.
